As parents we want absolute safety, care and enrichment for our children and Kathy’s program nails those core expectations.  She is licensed and attends regular continuing education and child resource courses.  Her home is routinely inspected by day care agencies and she practices fire and weather emergency drills with the children.  What was most important for me was Kathy’s keen attention to the children’s’ sensitivity and social interaction.  She demonstrates true compassion and love for the kids in her care and I think that is a priceless quality you may not find at other day care centers.  Kathy’s day care program includes nutritious meals and snacks.  The kids even get to help with age-appropriate baking and cooking!  She has real fun and creative ideas for art and crafts and the children would get an opportunity to do at least one art related project daily.  Kathy tought my daughter how to write her name, how to sing nursery rhymes , count and recognize numbers – just to name a few!
